A Vági Bence művészeti vezető rendezte Solus Amor a társulattal való több éves közös munka során megteremtett cirque danse nyelvén megszólaló monumentális előadás. Az egyetlen és ősi, időn és téren átívelő, mindannyiunkat összekötő energiát megidéző produkció korunk természet és csoda iránti vágyódásából meríti erejét.
A hitről és a szeretetről, a természetről és az univerzumról szóló előadásban az újcirkusz, a klasszikus és a modern tánc egyesül. Miközben az akrobatika a káprázatot és az ámulatba ejtést szolgálja, a tánc lehetőséget ad az önkifejezésre, a finomabb jelentésárnyalatok közvetítésére és a történetmesélésre.
„Nagy, komoly témákról beszélünk – fogalmaz Vági Bence –, melyek így vagy úgy, de minden embert foglalkoztatnak. Tesszük ezt olyan formában, olyan nyelven, mely nem kizárja, hanem befogadja a gondolkodni vágyó nézőt.” Innen adódik az előadás kettős nézőpontja: a Recirquel előadásaiban eddig mindig főszerepet játszó ember mellett egy mitikus medvebáb alakjában megjelenik a színpadon az állat is. A világhírű dél-afrikai bábtervező Janni Young által készített báb a valódit tökéletesen imitáló mozgásait táncosok irányítják.

Directed and choreographed by Bence Vági, the artistic director of Recirquel, Solus Amor (“Love Alone”) fuses contemporary circus with classical and modern dance is a monumental production that employs cirque danse, a genre created with and by the company in the course of several years. The production talks about the different manifestations of love, exploring its different layers and forms. It evokes the only, primeval energy that spans all space and time, and connects us all, draws its power from the contemporary yearning for nature and wonders.
“In Solus Amor we are talking about grand, serious subjects,” says Bence Vági, “which concern everyone one way or another. We do so in a form and language that, instead of excluding, accommodate viewers who wish to think.”
The new show of Hungary’s premier contemporary circus company employs tells a tale about faith and love, and about the universe and nature. Appearing on stage this time alongside the humans is a lifelike polar bear created by South African puppeteer and puppet theatre director Janni Younge.
